Etape 4: Ecole primaire du village de Rip

Nous (Gaël, Mick & Dipak) avons ensuite visité l'école primaire du petit village de Rip, qui ne comprend qu'une centaine de maisons. Cette école accueille 45 élèves du cycle maternel à la 3ème année primaire.

A l’origine, il y avait cinq classes dans cet établissement et seules deux sont toujours debout.

Les sanitaires sont entièrement détruits. Le problème est le même qu'à l'école d'Ashrang et une aide nous a été demandée pour la reconstruction des toilettes. Le comité de village nous a fait savoir que si nous entreprenions ce projet, les habitants travailleraient solidairement à la construction des nouveaux sanitaires. Un devis a été établi et le coût devrait tourner aux alentours des 1200 euros ( le coût de tous les projets reste approximatif à cause des conditions d'acheminement des matériaux de construction qui sont dangereuses en cette saison de mousson ). La solidarité entre les villageois nous a très vite convaincus et nous avons décidé de prendre en charge ce projet. Les matériaux arriveront normalement dans un peu moins d'un mois et les travaux devraient durer une dizaine de jours. Nous serons présents quelques jours lors des travaux afin d’aider les volontaires népalais.
